Volunteer at United Way's Meal Kit Packing event to pack 3,000 meal kits for students in our community. Each kit will include breakfast and lunch items to ensure children have enough to eat while they are away from school over the holiday break.
During this shift, volunteers will organize food items from pallets onto tables. The tasks require repeated heavy lifting as well as bending and standing.
The event will take place at the David. L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. Information on parking options will be sent via email prior to the event. United Way is unable to reimburse for any parking expenses.
