from Grant Thornton, the CentiMark Foundation, KPMG and the Birmingham Fou
ndation.\n\nSince the Big Book Drop started in 2019, United Way has distrib
uted nearly 214,000 books to nonprofit organizations, schools and day cares
focused on literacy through this event. With your help, we hope to bring t
hat total to a quarter million books at this year's Big Book Drop!\n\nPleas
e note, most volunteers will be repeatedly lifting boxes weighing up to 20
pounds throughout the day. Volunteers will be split into teams and will hav
e repeated break times.\n\nUnited Way strives to host inclusive, accessible
events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilitie
